Updating ComCtl32.dll

The control-elements-library ComCtl32.dll is one of the most important components of the operating system Windows 95 resp. 98. It contains nearly all Windows-control elements, as for example tool bars, buttons, edit fields, scrollbars, and so on. Microsoft works permanently on the developing of the library, that means that existing control elements get new properties and functions and new control elements are added.

For orientation: the first edition of Windows 95 was delivered with ComCtl32.dll in version 4.0, Microsoft Office 97 needed Ver. 4.70, Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 - Ver. 4.71, Windows 98 - Ver. 4.72. Some control elements which were used by TrySim have got properties which are existing since Version 4.70, but they work quite well with Version 4.72 which is the newest one at the moment.

We recommend to execute the update program which is included in the delivery package. The update influences the whole Windows environment.
