Size Changing of rotating Elements are just possible in the Starting Position

It is not possible to transfer a two-dimensional mouse movement in a unique way in a size changing of a rectangular parallellepiped that is anywhere orientated in space. That is why the size changing with the mouse will only be valid if the element is still in the starting position.

In most of the cases it is the easiest way to enter the exact size of an element in the edit mask, that is specially valid for turnable elements. The changing of the size with the mouse is quite practical for studies and fantasy machines, with simulation of real machines the size of the elements should be known. If it is not known this will point to omissions in the project preparation.

If you really want to change the size of the element with the mouse:

The easiest way to put the element into the starting position is to click with the right mouse button a little longer and select the point ‘Rotate’ out of the context menu which appears then. There is a button ‘Standard’ on the rotate mask. This one rotates the element into the starting position.

But if you have already connected the element to a joint it would be better to open the edit mask of the joint and put the element into the starting position with the slide control ‘Angle without loosen the Centre Mother’.
