Option OPC-Server

This interface is not intended for the quick replacement of the whole process image.

 

Some operator units are connected via OPC (OLE for Process Control) to real PLC's. Therefore TrySim has got the option OPC. There TrySim acts as OPC-Server (V1.0a). Thereby the simulated machine can firstly be run easier  and secondly you the configuration of the terminal can be tested under realistic conditions.

 

This functionality is not available in the demo and lite version. For the standard and professional version it costs EUR 500,- extra.

 

 

For using this option DCOM (Distributed Component Object Model) has to be configured.

The OPC-Server has got the name TrySim.DA1

(Array of 5 words in DB20, beginnng with DBW15)
